Should I Take Duphaston When My Home Pregnancy Test Results Are Showing Only A Faint Line?
Hello Doc. My last lmp was kn 4th April. It took on 6th May home pregnancy test and it showed a faint line, then after 2 days I repeated the test it again showed a faint line, then I again repeated it twice and it shown a very faint line barely to be visible.I started taking duphuston from 6th May as my doc prescribed me earlier as m ohaving fertility treatment. But now m confuse should I take it or not. I am waiting for more days to be past then to do Beta HCG test.
Most tests are sensitive to even being a few days late. Since you have a faint line on pregnancy test, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a Gynae, get urine test with first morning mid-stream urine or with blood in the laboratory to detect HCG. Faint line on pregnancy kit is indicative of miscarriage, early pregnancy- if you do a repeat test after a few days the lines should be thicker and deepened.
Faint lines may sometimes be indicative of evaporation line, ectopic pregnancy. False positive tests with faint lines can also occur due to Ovarian cyst, UTI, kidney test, etc. Get clinically examined and evaluated before taking Duphaston.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
