Should I Take Ondansetron Which I Purchased In 2016 For UTI?

I found an old prescription of ondanetron odt 4mg tabs, I have a UTI that a rx of macrobid 100 mg, I recently got from urgent care, & they didn t help at all, and im wondering if these pills , I had from 2016 worked for the same problem? and if I should take them ?

Hi,

Ondansetron should be taken for UTI only if you have vomiting. You should check the expiry date on medicine, if it falls in usable range, then you can take. It is not the definite Rx of UTI although.
