Should I Take Cymbalta And Trazodone For Depression, Anxiety And Painful Ears?

I suffer from depression and anxiety....lately I have had trouble with a sharp pain in my right ear and ringing, although I have had tinnitus for many years, also suffering from shortness of breath recently which I'm sure is associated with the anxiety issue. I am on Cymbalta 90 mgs and Trazodone 25 mgs at night. Shouldn't the dose of Cymbalta be helping with this anxiety?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Cymbalta consists of duloxetine and has good effect on somatic symptoms rather than anxiety symptoms. With trazodone, you would get sound sleep. I would suggest paroxetine to you, that would decrease anxiety as well as depressive symptoms. Better to consult a psychiatrist for the drug.

Thanks
