Should I Take Glimepride And Vobos Before My PPG Test?
hi i am regularly taking glimepride m2 before meal and vobose 0.3 after meal twice a day. just now got my FBG done and after 2 hours will go for PPG. should i eat my normal medicine before meal and after meal and then go for PPG or should i eat normally without medicine and then go for PPG.
Yes surely use should have your regular medications as it is and should not skip them for the test. There are few reason behind doing this.
1) taking medications as it is would make your physicisan come to know how properly the prescribed medicine controlling your sugar leveles and is there any need to increase or reduce the dose or change the medication.
If you skip medications results could be wrongly interpreted.
2) one more thing is that if you are diabetic and your sugars are not fairly controlled skipping a single dose of medications may land you in one of the complications of the daibetes known as diabetic ketoacidosis which is caused due to excess of sugar level.
So to avoid this you should be taking your medication as regular thogh it is rare.
So my advise is go with your regular medications.
