Should I Worry About Pregnancy Having Taken Ipill?
Hi, I had my periods last month from the 19th to the 24th . I had sex on the 27th even though I knew. He did not. Come inside me, just to be safer I took the ipill 3 hour's later. 3-4 days after I had periods again which lasted till around the 1st of this month. I still haven't got periods yet.
Although this is not very likely, it is, however, possible that pregnancy occurs so you had one risky intercourse and if this happened during your ovulation period it is possible that pregnancy occur, but considering your description of it, this risk is minor.
To be sure you should do a pregnancy test which can be done when the period is missed or 8 days after the targeted intercourse so at this point it would be accurate enough to detect possible pregnancy.
Standard urine test would be enough for it since this is almost 99% accurate.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
