Should I Worry About The Sensation Of Skipping Heartbeats When I'm Just A Young Adult?
Yesterday again i feel my heart about to stop or stuck. Occacianolly i experice this since may 2023. My echo is normal it taken on 2023 feb . ? ! soon after experice this i checked my puls it was about 86 bpm is there anything to worry about i m 21 yeara old
It is quite normal to have some skipped beats during physical activity or emotional stress in every healthy individual. So, try to relax and don't worry about it!
Anyway, if this problem persists, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests: - Complete blood count for anemia - Thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction - Blood electrolytes for possible electrolyte imbalances
In the meantime, I recommend avoiding too much caffeine intake and taking plenty of water to stay well hydrated.
Hope you will find this information helpful!
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
