Should I Worry If Intolerance To Exercise Has Started After Using Adderall ?
Hi my 20 yeqr old son had a echo done about 3 years ago. He was told he had a low reserve for his age. He is now on adderrqal for ADD. He finds himself SOB easily and when squatting and get up lightheaded. He also haas a intolerance to exercise. Is there cause to worry?
If this was a cardiac ultrasound, then there is something to get worried about. Shortness of breath on exercising often points to a problem with the heart. this is not a common side effect of adderral. I will suggest that you get him in for evaluation by his family physician and if need be by a cardiologist!
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Thanks. Dr. Ditah, MD.
