Should Plan B Be Taken If On Birth Control Pills?
Hello, I have been taking nora be 0.35mg tablets for birth control for a few years. I started having terrible bleeding so the dr put me on medroxyprogesterone 10mg tabs for about the 3 months. My question, I had unprotected intercourse Friday night and am wondering if I need to go get plan B, or should I be ok? I was told not to take birth control while taking the medroxy

You have to take emergency pills as medroxyprogesterone is intended to control irregular bleeding and it is not meant for contraception. You can take Plan B or Ipill according to your choice.
