Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Should Uroxatral Supposed To Be Mixed With Coreg And Taken?
Dr Prillaman has been Prescribing Uroxatrol for me over a year and a half no. I get a phone call today from the Pharmacy Technician at Ft Eustis Hospital that this medication is not supposed to be mixed with Coreg, which is given to me by My Cardiologist. what should I do then?
I am sorry to hear mix up. I will suggest you relay this information to your cardiologist. This would help hi to take a closer look at these medications and make the necessary changes if he thinks they are necessary. At times, doctors may make some decisions not in line with textbook recommendations if they think there is a strong reason to do so and the benefits outweigh the risk.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to request fir clarification and more information if need be. Thanks for using our services. Dr. Ditah, MD.
