Hello and welcome,

The ultrasound report does not indicate that there is a need for cesarean section. However there are innumerable indications for cesarean section and they may not always be reflected in the ultrasound report. Severe preeclampsia, small pelvis cephalopelvic disproprotion and so on are a few of them.

The baby is mature and can be delivered now. The route of delivery weather vaginal or cesarean will be best suggested by your obstetrician after examining you as she is the one who will know about all other issues and weigh all possibilities and then give an opinion. So please discuss this with her.

Best of luck and all my good wishes are with you.

Hope this satisfies your query.
