Should A Complete Hysterectomy Be Done While Suffering From HPV?
I have been diagnosed with High Risk HPV,I am 61 last period 1/14 and am a late menopausal women. I have also been diagnosed with cervical dysplasia very low grade, for last 21/2years, have been getting pap smears every 6 months which haven t changed, had a leep conozation, and a colposcopy, Uterine Biopsy and cervical biopsy and there is no dysplasia in uterus just cervix . So I am being proactive, as is my doctor . My question is ,will these levels of HPV eventually go down with age. I m on the bubble as to whether or not get a complete hysterectomy? What advice, if any, can you give me.

I read your question and here is my advice.
The HPV levels cant be gone by age.
It is not necessary a hysterectomy since only colum uteri is affected not uterus.
You can try DEEK or LEEP or surgical conisation.
