Should A Doctor Be Consulted For Appetite Loss And Headache After Recovering From Fever?

I went to Vegas for 4 days. The eve I returned I started feeling ill, cough, fever 100, extreame fatique. The fever lasted 4 days never over 100.5 had some bouts of diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea and increased chest congestion. At day 5 I felt less fatiqued and wheezing more controlled with a bronchial cough. Still have no appitite and now have dull headache.May I add my motel room bed was next to air conditioner. Since I am improving, I didnt go to DR, but I am still not up to par.Should I make appointment?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common after a bout of infection or fever.

As of now no definitive treatment is required.

You can depend on soft liquid diet for few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
