Should A Doctor Be Consulted For Inter Menstrual Vaginal Bleeding?

my daughter is having some fairly heavy vaginal bleeding. she finished her period about a week and a half ago, and this started about 5-6 days later. This is the 4th day, and it s not slacking up. YYYY@YYYY s bright red with no clots. she s very concerned and I don t know what to tell her. Does she need to find time to go in to doctor?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I reviewed your query and here is advise.
Of course she should visit a gynaecologist to find the cause of intermenstrual bleeding.
She needs to do an ultrasound, a total blood count and platelet count.
Follow up with your doctor for further investigation.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
