Should A Professional Help Be Sought For A 9 Year Old Who Is Remorseless After Blinding A Girl From A Screw Diver?

A 9 year old boy threw a scre driver and blinded his 5 year old sister. She has undergone surgery and will have more in the future. The boy shows no remorse for his actions and is going about his normal routine. His parents have not said a word about the incident to him.I fear that hw will grow up to be a serial killer. This is a delicate situation as I am a great aunt, but I have said to my sister-in-law that I feel professional help is needed.Am I over stepping?
Thanks for your input

Hi

It depends on whether it was an accident or otherwise.

Even then the boy should feel sorry!!!!!!

Are you very sure that the parents have not talked to him already in private?

Normal parents should have done so and feel guilty themselves.

You can talk if you are on god terms with them and they will accept your advice !!!

Anyway I am sorry for the girl!!!!

God bless
