I ve had a c scan mir and hip X-ray. i have a large cyst on my hip and severe arthritus in my hip. my primary care doctor wants me to have an EMG thinking its a nerve problem in my back.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The pain in the thigh might be related to a damaged nerve on your back, and this is usually diagnosed by performing EMG, that also helps finding the level of the damage.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
