Should An X-ray Be Taken After A Head Injury?

I fell two days ago and hit my left side of my head and I hurt a thump. I was wearing sun glasses and friends say that was what a I heard.I don t agree. My concern is that I am on Coumadin, 4 mg daily. Should I have my head x rayed ? I am a young 80 female.

I would suggest you get a CT head done immediately in order to rule out hemorrhage, although it’s been 2 days, and you have had no symptoms. So it should be negative.
