Should An Infant Scratched By A Pet Cat Require Immediate Medical Attention?
Hello. My two-months baby was scratched by our indoor cat on her foot. The cut is small and not deep. I sprayed it with a desinfectant and it looks fine for now. The baby was not vaccinatedyet (due tomorrow). Is this dangerous? Should we go see a doctor right away? Thank you.
Hi...you say the baby is yet not vaccinated. I suggest you take her to the doctor immediately. It will require immunization with TT. But as the baby is due for her regular DPTvaccination which will have TT in it I suggest you go ahead and give the vaccination to the baby.
