Should An Isoniazid Treatment Be Taken For Inactive TB?
when I was a child and traveled to far eastern countries with my da I had to have TB vaccinations at least twice and booster shots. Now I am told by VA that I need to get treated for inactive TB in case I have respiratory problems later. Is this true and do I really need the Isoniazid treatments?
As per the WHO guidelines, the inactive TB does not require a full course of AKT provided no symptoms , signs or other data suggestive of least activity of the tuberculous pathogen.
