Should Bleeding From Nose After An Injury Be A Sign Of A Major Issue?

I got hit in the nose about 3 weeks ago and it bled A LOT I thought I may have broken it or something it hurt so bad and bruised and I had a black eye. Well it looked fine and stopped hurting so I thought I was overreacting. Now today I was blowing g my nose because it tickled and a HUGE long brown mucius-like thing just plopped out. It s thick and slightly dark orange tinged. What is it? Should I go.to the doctor.

The bleeding from the nose and the black eye can be because of the fracture nasal and orbital bones. The orange colored mucous can be because of the mucous secretion tinged with blood. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. You need to get a radiograph done to confirm the diagnosis.
If there is any fracture, it needs surgical correction.
