Should Blood Spot In Eye White Be Of Concern In A Cancer Patient?
My Father has a combination of both hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma and as a result has esophageal varices. Tonight his eye appears to have a large spot of blood on the white part. I can't find anything saying that I should be concerned or that it has anything to do with the cancer, but I wanted to ask you guys. Should I take him to the hospital?
Is he on any treatment, Its a sign of bleeding, Check for bleeding signs in other areas like gums, nose, or skin for red spots and bruises etc and take him to the hospital emergency immediately. If no other signs get a blood platelet count, and consult your oncologist.
