Should Dairy Products Be Avoided When You Have A UTI?
I have UTI condition and my doctor said I should avoid dairy products but it was not listed on the instructions from the pharmacy. So, I am wondering if I got confused with the verbal things to avoid. I am taking three new drugs and I m seventy eight years of age and I am wondering if I got the instructions correct or not. I m kind of embarrassed to go back and ask her. Thank you so kindly. Sincerely, Terri R.
The instructions of avoiding dairy products are not in concern with UTI, but surely it matters as there are chances of gastritis from drugs prescribed for UTI as an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and so forth and in this instance, avoidance of dairy products significantly reduce the chances of stomach problems.
