Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern.
I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications.
in my opinion you ca take your diabetes medication as scheduled after dinner.
your blood sugar readings are very well under control.the reading of 257 in evening might be due to little stress due to your epidural injection and it will settle in no time.
i suggest you to check your Hba1c% once in three months to check your average blood sugar control.
kindly follow diet and exercise as usually.
regards
Dr vamsi
