Should I Avoid Flying To Prevent A Detached Retina In My Left Eye?
Hello, 50 year old male here with Glaucoma and HX of a detached retina in the right eye which caused right eye blindness. Should I avoid flying to prevent a detached retina in my left eye?. I have a strong family HX of this problem,....If the cabin is not pressurized correctly could it potentially pull on the retina? Thank you. David
No need to prevent flying. Now a days no cabin of plan is unpressurized. Get your left eye checked regularly. Get IOTchecked regularly. With these check you can fly.
