Should I Be Concerned About Hearing Sounds When I Blow My Nose?
When I hiccup or burp, or blow my nose I feel/hear a pop in my right ear. It SOUNDS to ME, like a piece of plastic having air cause it to pop back and forth, I know that s kind of vague and I m not saying it actually is plastic in my ear, nothing else leads me to believe that it would be plastic. That s just to explain how I interpret it.

As per your query you hear noises while hiccups , burps and during blowing nose . Well the symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as eustachian tube dysfunction . In this condition mucous from upper respiratory track infection or post nasal drip like condition specially when they left untreated goes in ti eustachian tube , which balances pressure between pharynx and ear . Due to opening and closing of eustachian tube you hear voices . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay , because sometimes infection can speread to ear through eustachain tube . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test , blood test and CT scan to confirm the diagnosis and rule out condition like tinnitus . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin) , decongestants and mucolytic agent . For now take steat twice a day and apply dry warm compresses to ear .
