I am a 64 year old female in relatively good health, on meds for hypothyroidism with regular dr. check ups. Over the past two weeks I have experienced a rippling in left eye which lasts about 15 minutes. I have had vitreous detachment before but that seems to have resolved. Any ideas.
Hi I am an endocrinologist,so the only think i can say is that the problem with your eye is not due to your actual thyroid gland condition.I m sure that your hypothyroidism with the regular check ups and on optimal dose of Levothyroxine ,is in euthyroid situation. My suggestiin is to talk with an ophtalmologist for the problem with your eye.
