Should I Be Concerned About Swollen Ankle And Foot?

hi, I returned 24 hours ago from a short flight (3 hours) during which both my feet and ankles swelled significantly. Both have since gone down but my left ankle and foot are still swollen (although less so) and I am itchy. Do I need to be concerned?

Before I answer I need to know is this happened to you for the first time? If yes then it can be because of prolong sitting. Otherwise please check for dilated veins that is varicose veins, kidney function by blood test.
