Should I Be Concerned As I Am Having A Long Lump On My Eye Socket And A Black Eye?

Hey I recently had a fight with my brother, to which I suffered a an injury to my cheekbone, followed by a black eye and a hard lump! This happened three weeks ago! And the injury too a week to heal! But now I notice a long lump next to my eye socket, it's slightly sensitive to touch, but vertually painless! Should I be concerned?

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a injury to the cheek bone followed by black eye and lump on eye socket.
Black eye is because of collection of blood under the layers of eye lids. This does not require treatment as it resolves over 3-4 weeks.
The lump may be because of haematoma, however this requires evaluation to rule out fractures of the orbit bones.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor to rule out fracture of the orbit by examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
