Should I Be Concerned As I Am Having Itchy Knot Like Bumps?
I am a 36 year old black female. I keep having these itchy knot like bumps coming up on my all over one at a time. They stay for about 3 to 4 days . At First I thought it was something biting me but now I'm concerned it might be something internally. Have you heard of this
Hi there. I hear you & empathise with your predicament. From your history & clinical description, it does appear to be a form of 'hives' or 'Urticaria'. Judging by the fact that an individual lesion lasts' more than 3-4 days, it is more likely to be a sub-sect of Urticaria called 'Urticarial Vasculitis'. This will require a skin biopsy & further lab tests to ascertain, pinpoint the causative factors' & then treat. I recommend that you fix an appointment with your dermatologist at the earliest. For symptomatic relief in the interim, please do take a tablet of Fexofenadine 180mg once a day. This can be increased in dosage to 2 tablets if unresponsive to one. Good Luck & Good Day!
