Should I Be Worried About Boil Filled With Yellow Puss?
Hello, I had a small boil lanced yesterday and the packing removed today. This afternoon I have a thick yellow puss coming out of the area that was lanced. My culture tested negative for bacteria should I be worries about the yellow puss or is this normal?
You seem to have pyoderma. It is a bacterial infection caused by staphylococci. You go for investigations to rule out DM,HIV or other immunocompromised conditions. If there is some internal disease, proper treatment may be taken. For pyoderma, take antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs. Apply antibiotic cream. Take anti oxidants, vitamins and minerals to improve the immunity. Improve hygiene by dettol bath. Take nutritious food. Avoid worries and stress. I think, you may be alright.I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
