Should I Be Worried About The Blood In Urine After First Intercourse?
Hi I have been using ova shield for six months now as recommended by a gynaecologist. I am done with my period on tenth. My problem is i urinated little amount of blood. I had an intercourse a few days ago for the first time. Is it normal. We took precaution. Please help... I know it s normal to have blood in the first time but I have seen blood after two days from the intercourse.
According to your history the possible causes of the spotting are: - You have not mentioned why you are using the Ovaa shield tablets prescribed by your doctor. Usually Ovaa shield tablets are used for ovulation induction in infertility. If you have mentioned any contraceptive tablets of that name, then there is a possibility of inter-menstrual spotting due to that tablets. - Tearing of the hymen during first intercourse can lead to spotting sometimes.
But sometimes the bleeding can recur after a few days due to unplugging of damaged blood vessels. This type of spotting will usually subside soon without the need of any specific treatment. So you can wait and watch for a few more days, if the bleeding doesn't recur or persist no need to worry.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
