Should I Be Worried About The Headache And Unconsciousness After Taking A Hit To Head?

My 15-year old just was hit on the temple with an elbow, playing in a basketball tournament, and blacked out for a few seconds. He now has a headache so bad it is causing him to feel sick. This might also be a result of the heat and three games of play with little to no food. Should he be seen?

hi
thanks for using health care magic.
as there is history of injury followed by episode on unconsciousness, then severe headache, it must be investigated ( CT head) properly to rule out any serious underlying pathology if any. Yes you should take him to doctor as soon as possible.
thanks.
