Should I Be Worried About The Pain In Throat While Swallowing After A Shell Getting Stuck?
I was eating a taco salad--the kind inside the big tortilla shell. A corner of the shell got lodged in my throat. My breathing was never compromised. It hurts a lot, however, to swallow. I have eaten more food (including bread) and consumed a great deal of water and it will not move. Should I be concerned? It really freaks me out and hurts.
Yes i think you should be a bit concerned as the shell may be lodged in your throat, this can cause an infection and make your swallowing very painful. please dont try to remove it by eating and meet your ent doctor , he will examine you and remove it for you.
Thanks
