Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
hi ,dr.syed minhaj ahmed here,

Swelling following a trauma can be due to 2 reasons only, bony injury or soft tissue injury . if it would have been a pure soft tissue injury without fracture , the swelling and tenderness (pain on touch) should have come down by this time alteast by 60%.
If not please do take an x ray to rule out bone injury( fracture )
