Should I Be Worried About The Vomiting During Pregnancy?

I am 8 months pregnant and to date have not had a problem with throwing up even during my first trimester, now however, I have had a couple of episodes of throwing up in the past couple of days....is this normal as we reach the end of pregnancy or should I be concerned

Hello,
Toward the last trimester of pregnancy, indigestion becomes a common problem as the gastric capacity becomes limited due to compression by the growing uterus. Apart from this, abnormal liver function can also cause vomiting. If you can rule out abnormal liver function, it is more likely to be physiological and hence, not to be worried about much; only, please try to eat small frequent meals with easily digestible food to curb the problem. Digestive enzymes often help. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
