Hi,

Considering a significant family history, it is important such symptoms are investigated carefully. Your GP will do a general physical exam, and based on his findings may advise you a routine blood test; bleeding and clotting time; CT scan of head and neck; and/ or heart scan.
Kindly let me know once your results come up and in case of any further queries.

Thanks, Dr Vishesh Rohatgi
