Should I Be Worried Of Getting Palpitations From Taking Ramipril?

i have just lost my sister and am feeling very stressed as my brother and i are having to deal with a lot of stuff i do have high blood pressure for which i take ramipril 5mg i have noticed that i seem to be getting some palpitations /flutters should i worry or is it normal when so stressed

Dear sir

Ramipril 5mg belongs to group of angiotensive converting enzyme inhibitors which does not cause tachycardia in general

Palpitation and tachycardia in hypertensive patients are very common and can be controlled by beta blockers if there is contraindications or associated conditions such as thyroid disease and pituitary gland disease.

Addition of cardioselective betablocker will help.
