Should I Be Worried Of The Swelling On The Neck Of A 14 Year Old?

My 14 year old daughter has a swelling on the right size of her neck. We have taken her in they did a biopy and told us it was unknown edema of the neck tissues and they would monitor it. With an ultra sound in 3 months However in the last 72 hours she has complained that her collarbone hurts and there is swelling around the point of her left coller bone. Should we be concerned and calling the doctor?

It is not an emergency but it is better to show doctor in 1 to 2 days. Such neck swelling according to your biopsy is lymph nodes. This is sign of infection in body. So i think apart from biopsy i would also recommend chest x ray, and blood investigation such as Hb, CBC and ESR. If any infection is positive after treating this your swelling will subside.
