Should I Consult A Doctor As I Am Coughing Constantly?
I've been coughing constantly for about a week and half now. It seems to worsen in the evening. Lots of phlegm in the morning and today I noticed there were lumps on towards the back of my tongue. Should I make a visit to my doc or can an over the counter medicine solve this problem?
Hello, Lumps at the back of tongue could be normal as these are enlarged tonsil at the back of tongue and papilla. For cough you need to take antibiotics. It will be better if you take ENT consultation and medicines. For constant cough for long time there could be chances of nasal phlegm or reflux disease. reflux disease is reflux of food contents from stomach in food pipe which could cause chronic irritation in throat and cough. In doubt do reply.
