till a month back i was taking amlong mt25 for about 4 years for hypertension and controlling blood pressure. lately my b.p reading is 165/101. Should i switch over to amlong mt 50. I have already had it once and the reading was 135/83 . There was no side effects except i felt a little bit lethargic. Should i continue on a daily basis. Thanks in anticipation. D.K.Sharma

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this poorly controlled blood pressure. Please, though you have obtained good results with the trial, I will recommend you talk to the prescribing doctor about the observation and changes that you have made. I a pretty convinced he will not ask you to stop but he should be well updated on your current treatment regimen.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.
