Pur-Bloka (propranolol ) is a non-selective beta-blocker/6535?iL=true" >beta blocker used in the treatment of hypertension.
It is no longer the drug of choice for treating hypertension. You need to switch over to newer generation beta-blocker like metoprolol (Cardioselective ) sustained release formulation.Cardio-selective β-blockers like metoprolol & bisoprolol are preferred.
