Should I Go For A Laparoscopic Surgery In Case Of Infertility?
Hello Doctor, I am a 28 year old woman (married for two years, husband with healthy sperm count), with PCOD grade 2. I am healthy otherwise, at 5 ft 5 inches and 61 kg and have no other health issues. I have done about 8 cycles on Letroz and Fertomid with successful ovulation. My gynec is advising me to go for laparoscopic surgery to diagnose other problems. As this is a surgery, though minimally invasive, I have my doubts and wish to have second opinion regarding this. I would like to know if there is any other way of countering my problem.
Hi, I think you can go for a laparoscopy to rule out any other cause of infertility. Also, you can know about your tubes status. Ovarian drilling can also be done If required. After that you can ovulate naturally without medicines and can try naturally also. Hope I have answered your question. Regards Dr khushboo
