Should I Go To ER As My Son Is Having Rapid Heart Beat And Chills?

I took my 19 year son to the ER today with rapid heart beat & his bp was high.He has been diagnosed with hyperbilirubinemia. They sent him home & told me to follow up with his gp next week. He is feeling worse now & I'm not sure what to do. He's having chills & still feels his heart beating fast. Should we just wait & see how he feels later or take him back to the ER? Not sure how to help him.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem, looking to age of your son it is very less likely that the cardiac problem is there, the most common cause would be emotional disturbances, fear, guilty feel, you need to make him sure that, every thing will be okay, and every body will help you, just relax and take it easy, take him under your confidence, if possible or required you can give him tranquilizer this will calm him control the heart rate, brings the sleep, and he will be relaxed, take care and nothing to worry wait for little more time he will be fine, have good day.
