Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Should I Have The Reconstructive Surgery For Thoracic/lumbar Curvature?
I have a 70° thoracic/lumbar curvature due to rotoscoliosis. Surgical intervention has been recommended by my neurosurgeon. I am a 56 y.o. female with no other significant health problems, except FMS/CFS. Ambulation is becoming increasingly difficult due to a prominent forward lean, combined with severe muscle spasms. Should I have the reconstructive surgery? ?
