Should I Meet A Doctor For Having Cough With Mucus And Chest Pain?
For a month or so now I've been coughing up mucus here and there, and in the past week I've been having sharp chest pain. I went to the hospital, they barely checked me out and sent me away with a prescription for antiflammatory and something to stop the bacteria production. It's been a couple days since I started talking the medication and I feel the same. Should go get checked out again or hope it goes away?
Hi, thank you for asking healthcare Magic. With this presentation, I think a thorough clinical assessment needs to be carried out on you associated with some tests like full blood count, chest X-ray and even sputum examination. I would suggest you go back and complain to your doctor.
I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you. I wish you good health
