Should I Meet Doctor For Cold And Splitting Of Phlegm Of A 2 Month Baby?

My 2 month old has had a cold for about a week now. Nothing other than a lot of congestion in his nose. Lots of mucus in his nose and sometimes spitting up phlegm. I've been suctioning his nose but it just fills back up in a little while. Should I take him to the doctor?

Hi.. I think the baby has either allergic or infectious process undergoing. How is the baby? Is the baby feeding adequately? Does the baby have fever, cough or post cough vomiting? If nothing like that and the baby is fine then you can use normal saline nasal drops to loosen the secretion and drainage. I.think it should help.If anytime you feel that the baby has decreased feeding, decrease activity or noisy breathing do visit your pediatrician.
