Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m having bad back pain due to core issues. I ve been taking 800 mg of ibuprofen with flexiril but it hasn t done much for my pain. I have two questions: 1. I have some norco and was wondering it this would be better to take? 2. I ve been icing my back during the day and this evening. Is it better to apply heat in this case? Please advise. Thank you.
If the injury or pain recently started then for the first few days , ice can be used but if it is long standing then you can try warm compresses from now on to see if they help.
You can try the norco prescribed to you to see if this helps with your pain. If you still get no relief then you may need to see your doctor for assessment.
hello if it is a recent pain not relieving by ibuprofen then norco may be taken if its severe in intensity, but should be taken for only 3 days.try to get xray done to find the cause,so consult orthopedic doctor thanks
