Should I Take Wikoryl Tablet For Nose Blockage During Pregnancy?

hi i m 11 weeks 4 days pregnant. Have a severe nose block. Unable to sleep at night. Have to use pressure to breath which leads to little pain in lower abdomen. Doctor is out of station and her team has asked to me to take Tab Wikoryl Twice or thrice a day for two weeks. Does it will affect my fetus. Also have hypertension problem. Have been taken labebat 200 mg twice a day. Please advice

The wikoryl contains a decongestant so it is possible that this may affect your blood pressure though it may not have a significant effect.

You may want to try topical treatments first such as normal saline drops/spray or otrivine.

In addition laying elevated and steam inhalation may also help.
