Should I Take Duphaston For Spotting During Pregnancy?
hello doctor iam vasantha, iam 13 weeks pregnant my doctor prescribed me duphaston twice a day from week 5 .last week I had a scan and baby is good and normal. he told to stop duphaston. but after stopping it iam having light brwn mucous stain. should I continue duphaston? for how long?

Thanks.. Duphaston is a progesterone tablet the will help to maintain pregnancy.. Since u had a minimal spotting there is no harm in taking duphaston for a week or two. by 10-12 weeks placenta takes up the job of producing progesterone so it can be stopped if ther is no spotting/cramps..
