Should I Take Morning After Pill After Having Unprotected Sex?

I had a break from my cerazette pill over christmas to see if i would get my period back, but I didn't so i started again. I took my pill for 4 days and then had unprotected sex,( I do not know my cycle as I don't have periods) was i safe or should i get the morning after pill?

Thanks for letting us know your health concern. In the current scenario, your chances of failure are very remote since you have been on oral contraception almost continuously. However, if you have taken a long break before you started the fresh course of pills, you need additional protection in this cycle. Then you have to consume the emergency contraceptive pill. Please remember that you may experience withdrawal bleeding subsequently as the emergency contraceptive pill contains high dose of progesterone. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
