Should I Take Probiotics For Frequent Yeast Infections?

yes, - I get yeast infections often. When I take antibiotic, I normally get yeast infections. After eating, my upper stomach is swollen and feelings of discomfort, feels like I am gaining weight... I have a bowel movement every 2-3 days, in small amount Is bad bacteria connected here? Do I need to take probiotics thanks Jenny

Hello Jenny,

Yes, as you may know, antibiotic usage kills the good gut bacteria, giving way to the overpopulation to the other not so good bacteria and yeast. This leads to indigestion, hence the bloating and discomfort after eating.
The constipation may very well be connected to indigestion and malabsorption.
Taking probiotics would be the sensible thing to do. Also, adding raw garlic and apple cider vinegar to your diet would be a bonus and their intake would prevent future recurrence of the yeast infections.
